Job Summary
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Senior Structural Engineer serves as the Engineer of Record and structural engineering subject matter expert for a variety of telecom projects. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of typical building construction types and is familiar with practical methods used to analyze, design, and/or modify a variety of structures. Position will be based out of Rosewell, Georgia. Qualified candidates residing in the southeast may be considered for remote work environment.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects, and an eagerness to share knowledge and expertise with fellow engineers, drafters, and other non-engineering personnel. The Senior Structural Engineer does not prepare drawings using AutoCAD or BIM software but provides markups using BlueBeam or other software and ensures quality through a backcheck process. On rare occasions, the Senior Structural Engineer travels to job sites to investigate existing structural conditions.

In this position as a Level II technician, you would have had 1 year or so experience splicing single mode and multi-mode fiber.. The incumbent would work alongside another Fiber Technician to continue to learn and grow into a level III.
