Job Summary

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Senior Structural Engineer serves as the Engineer of Record and structural engineering subject matter expert for a variety of telecom projects primarily in California and Hawaii. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of typical building construction types and is familiar with practical methods used to analyze, design, and/or modify a variety of structures.

This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects, and an eagerness to share knowledge and expertise with fellow engineers, drafters, and other non-engineering personnel. The Senior Structural Engineer does not prepare drawings using AutoCAD or BIM software but provides markups using BlueBeam or other software and ensures quality through a backcheck process. On rare occasions, the Senior Structural Engineer travels to job sites to investigate existing structural conditions.
