Under the supervision of the Director of Talent, the Compensation Analyst will research job requirements and evaluate job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the area of compensation.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends in the US, Canada & Philippines job markets.
  • Support annual compensation administration to include merit and incentive processes.
  • Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
  • Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
  • Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
  • Prepare and maintain job classifications and salary scales.
  • Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
  • Gather data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
  • Work with Director of Talent and Operations Leadership to develop job tracks and career progression ladders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Knowledge of compensation schemes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  • 3 years of experience as a compensation analyst required.
