Job Summary

Centerline is seeking a Master Electrician for an immediate start! The Master Electricians task is to facilitate the installation, repair and maintenance of wireless and wireline telecommunications equipment, and will perform many different tasks in the Line and Antenna division of Centerline. A Master Electrician license is required for Indiana. This position is open due to the growth of the business!

Responsibilities

Perform complete installations at wireless and wireline telecommunication facilities sites:

  • Installation of all AC/DC circuits at wireless telecommunications facilities.
  • Installation of conduit paths for both wireline and wireless telecommunications facilities.
  • Installation of Fiber optic cabling to provide backhaul circuits for wireless telecommunications sites.
  • Installation of AC/DC Generators for backup power at wireless telecommunications sites.

Perform maintenance:

  • Testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing / replacement of defective parts

Wire Pulling:

  • Installation of AC & DC circuits, fiber optic cables and CAT5 in conduit

General Duties:

  • Utilize basic hand tools and basic power tools (saw, drill, pipe bender), perform UG conduit installation.
  • Could lift upwards of 50lbs. and climbing ladders to heights up to 10’.
  • Operate company provided vehicle.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

  • Five years’ experience working as a Master Electrician
  • Master License in IN is required
  • High School Diploma
  • Telecommunications or Commercial electrical experience is a plus
  • Computer/Networking experience is a plus

Work Environment

  • This position is provided with a company vehicle, laptop, phone, credit card and all major tools/equipment needed for the role. However, hand tools are a responsibility of the electrician.
  • This is a hybrid role where the Electrician will be based out of the Swedesboro NJ location but job dependent can go right to the job site.
  • Travel to sites is required, sometimes in excess of 100 miles in company provided vehicle. 
  • Hours are Mon-Fri with expectation of 50-55 hours per week as a non-exempt employee. 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift up to 51 pounds, be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices), carry and climb ladders, work from heights, work in small crawl spaces, balance, stoop, kneel.
  • The employee is expected to work in all weather conditions, both in extreme cold and heat.
  • The employee may drive for extended periods of time, including all weather and light conditions.
