Job Summary

Reporting to the VP of Site Acquisition, Program Managers are responsible for managing a site acquisition program for new wireless facilities or modifications of existing or new site builds (NSBs).

 

The Site Acquisition Program Manager will lead all aspects of the site acquisition process for wireless infrastructure projects in the New York City market. This role requires a strategic leader with strong financial oversight, client management, and operational excellence skills to drive projects from identification through construction handoff.

What Will You Do

 

  • Program Leadership & Reporting

    • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of site status reports and databases.

    • Establish and implement internal reporting systems and dashboards for senior management visibility.

    • Act as the primary point of escalation for clients, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.

    • Lead all site status meetings, calls, and reporting in alignment with customer requirements.

  • Project & Financial Management

    • Own all financial aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, target margins, and performance tracking.

    • Evaluate and refine internal procedures to improve efficiency, technology adoption, and resource utilization.

    • Support and mentor Site Acquisition Project Managers, ensuring consistent execution across all teams.

  • Site Acquisition Execution

    • Oversee all phases of site acquisition, including identification, due diligence, surveying, leasing/licensing, zoning, and regulatory filings.

    • Ensure accurate tracking of deliverables, standardized documentation, and timely updates to market trackers.

    • Manage coordination of site visits and technical assessments with internal and external teams.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Facilitate smooth information flow between site acquisition, permitting, construction, and client teams.

    • Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve business and approval issues.

    • Oversee ordering, review, and tracking of due diligence materials such as title, environmental, and regulatory reports.

    • Ensure complete and accurate handoff packages to construction to minimize delays.

What You Will Need

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant project management experience with a major telecom carrier (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile).

  • Experience managing large-scale wireless site acquisition programs.

  • Strong financial acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

  • Excellent computer and reporting skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project tracking tools.

  • Proven leadership and team management experience.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive under aggressive project schedules.

  • Effective communicator with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.


Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; may be required to walk long distances, climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl.

  • Must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company policy.


Work Schedule & Travel

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday; occasional evenings as required.

  • Travel to other markets as needed.

Expected compensation includes $100,000-$110,000 as an annual salary and benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees.
