Job Summary

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Manager-Site Acquisition will manager projects related to Site Acquisition including leasing, zoning with jurisdictions, and assist with site acquisition documents including lease and real estate documents along with zoning and permitting applications. Must have telecommunications experience. The project manager will cover projects in/around Arizona.  Candidates must be in that location.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

 

  • Provide site identification, qualification and lease negotiation services for wireless telecommunication sites
  • Prepare, submit and present permit applications for wireless telecommunication sites
  • Tracks legal transactions and land use processing. 
  • Receives and enters project tracking data into complex databases, runs reports 
  • Compiles site acquisition and engineering files in electronic document repository throughout duration of the project, including transfer of final deliverables to multiple databases along with the client 
  • Uploads deliverables to the client(s) 
  • Communicates activities with team members and other departments, as needed 
  • Obtains all necessary permitting/zoning approval from local jurisdictions  
  • Maintain relationships with municipalities and manage all aspects of complying with conditions of approvals from municipalities 
  • Inform other internal functional groups about requirements and regulations of government entities and municipalities to assist with compliance with general conditions of approvals at permit and construction stages of the project, and to meet project timelines

Qualifications

What You Will Need

  • 3+ years of project management experience including tracking project status, communicating updates to internal and external teams, and experience with project tracking software.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in wireless telecom industry, preferably in Site Acquisition 
  • Experience with state jurisdictions and permitting preferred  
  • Experience going up to the counter at the jurisdiction 
  • Experience with industry project management tools and Miscrosoft office highly desirable 
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse group of clients, vendors, subcontractors, professionals, and executives 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
