Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our team. Individual will be  responsible for creating engineering drawings from field sketches and drawing templates using AutoCAD.  Work must adhere to Centerline’s established specifications and standards.  Candidate will be required to participate in field work, including but not limited to, measuring and providing accurate sketches and notes. This position is remote and can work from anywhere.

What Will You Do

 

  • Ability to work with minimal supervisions 
  • Willing to put in the extra hours when needed, but also enjoy the shorter hours when available 
  • Self-motivated, driven, reliable and good communication skills required 
  • Willing and able to travel and preform outdoor site walks in all weather conditions 
  • Ability to work within teams, and also independently 
  • Can put in extra hours when needed, but also enjoy the shorter hours when available

What You Will Need

 

  • Engineering/Architectural Technology degree a plus.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with the production of engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD.
  • Experience with the production of civil/structural engineering drawings.
  • Experience with AutoCAD preparing various site plans, grading plans, civil plan sets, plan and profile sheets, and utility plans. 
  • Basic understanding of grading and drainage concepts and utility design standards for water and sewer distribution.
