Reporting to the Vice President of Site Acquisition, the Site Acquisition Program Manager leads and oversees all acquisition activities related to new wireless facilities and modifications to existing infrastructure. This role manages both internal site acquisition teams and subcontracted resources to ensure successful delivery of market objectives in alignment with client expectations.
The Program Manager partners closely with market leadership and clients to define feasibility, scope, timelines, and performance goals. Responsibilities include establishing project priorities, managing budget and schedule constraints, and ensuring accurate forecasting and on-time delivery of all project milestones in accordance with contractual requirements.
In addition to driving program execution, the Program Manager is accountable for maintaining strong client relationships—often across multiple markets—and provides leadership to regional Construction Managers and Project Managers to ensure operational excellence and consistent program performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead all site acquisition activities, including due diligence, leasing, zoning, permitting, and regulatory approvals.
Manage Site Acquisition Project Managers and Construction Managers, providing leadership, guidance, and performance oversight.
Maintain standardized processes for tracking deliverables, reporting progress, and ensuring data accuracy.
Coordinate communication and workflow across Site Acquisition, permitting, engineering, construction teams, and clients.
Resolve business, legal, and approval issues in collaboration with clients and legal teams.
Oversee due diligence, site visits, documentation, and handoff packages to ensure timely, error-free project execution.
Manage project financials, forecasting, and performance against target margins.
Provide clear, consistent reporting to clients and senior leadership, serving as the primary escalation point.
Work with A&E firms and contractors to ensure complete and compliant zoning, construction documents, and permit submissions.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, technology use, and team operations to increase program efficiency.
Other Duties:
Expected compensation includes $80,000-$110,000 annual salary and benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees. Compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as an individual’s education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need.
