Position Overview: 

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Estimator/Project Managers with a strong background in general construction.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.   The right candidate will also have experience estimating projects, responsibilities include determining how long each contracting job will last, researching market prices for project materials and equipment, and communicating with clients to determine the scope of project. You should also be able to identify ways to continually improve cost-estimating procedures to reduce inconsistencies between estimated and actual project costs.

What Will You Do

 

    • Refine the scope of work and detail subcontracts
    • Manage multiple projects in various stages of activities
    • Prepare and monitor project budgets, scope, and schedule
    • Develop project schedule and monitor/update as the project progresses
    • Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation superintendents and tradespeople
    • Provide specific expertise and critical thinking for problem-solving
    • Provide technical evaluation of subcontractor and equipment proposals
    • Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
    • Coordinate completion of construction activities.
    • Prepare a punch list to ensure the readiness of systems for turnover to the client.
    • Leadership and organization skills
    • Knowledge of construction safety, policies, and procedures, with field experience a plus.
    • Strong communication skills in customer-facing settings
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Office

Salary range for this position is 100,000-125,000.  Salary will be based on experience. 

 

Travel:

  • Up to 75%+ local travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
