Maicom LLC (Also doing business as Battery Power Solutions in the PNW) a full-service mission-critical electrical products and services provider, has an immediate outstanding opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join our successful team in Dupont, WA! Sales plays a critical role in achieving customer acquisition and retention as well as new business growth objectives. This position involves prospecting sales leads and qualifying client opportunities, business referrals, and web leads.

What Will You Do

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support and grow our AC/DC power systems critical infrastructure project portfolio. This role bridges engineering and customer needs, working closely with clients, project teams, and partners to develop technically sound, commercially competitive solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical power systems, including AC and DC applications typically seen in Telecom, 911 centers, Hospitals, Utilities, Data Centers and other applications where 99.999% reliability is needed in the power systems. Some of the equipment we work with is Rectifiers, Inverters, UPS Systems, Generators and Battery Back-Up Systems. The candidate should be comfortable translating complex technical concepts into clear value propositions.


Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying project opportunities, supporting bid and proposal development, providing technical input during the sales process, and maintaining strong relationships with customers across industrial, utility, and infrastructure markets. Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, project management, and operations teams.

  • Perform market analysis to identify, develop and source sales prospects/leads for marketing campaigns.
  • Utilizing Salesforce.com CRM, coordinate with the sales team to build and expand the company’s customer prospects and potential sales.
  • Perform outbound lead follow-up, including cold calls, to prospective and existing customers to qualify opportunity leads and upsell products and services.
  • Function in a sales environment with a heavy focus on fostering, developing and nurturing
    relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Handle inbound calls to convert into new sales opportunities.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the Engineering Sales Team members for further development.

What You Will Need

Requirements:

  • 4+ years Technical sales or related experience with proven track record, including outbound call prospecting, lead nurturing and sales conversion.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Office software is required, Salesforce CRM is a plus.
  • Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to develop new sales prospects and drive customer engagement, sales pipeline development and revenue growth.
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed, able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly and effectively present information, including features and benefits, to new prospects, existing clients, channel partners and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve practical problems where limited standardization exists.
